Kasey Lansdale discusses her debut novel First Chance, which introduces Chance Kirby, a former journalist turned private investigator in Hopeful, Texas. Her first case, the unsolved killing of a client's sister, uncovers a string of young women murdered the same way. Lansdale, a singer-songwriter and the daughter of the novelist Joe R. Lansdale, is joined by Christopher Golden, the Massachusetts horror writer whose Ararat won the Bram Stoker Award.
