Rhonda DeChambeau and Elaine Dimopoulos discuss Stained
Rhonda DeChambeau launches Stained, a novel in verse for young readers, on its publication day, in conversation with author Elaine Dimopoulos. Twelve-year-old Ulysses, new in town and self-conscious about the port-wine stain on his face, photographs his middle school’s mural project, then watches the town divide when a tiny painted rainbow leads to demands that the mural be destroyed. The story is based on real-world events.
