Forum Series: Walls, Windows, and Women Artists
A three-part forum ahead of the church building’s 150th anniversary in February 2027, on the art inside it. Keith Morgan, professor emeritus of art and architecture history at Boston University, opens with John La Farge’s murals; Trinity tour guide Peter Smiledge follows with the stained glass and its nineteenth-century revival; and church historian Cynthia Staples closes with the women artists whose work appears on its walls, windows and floors.
