Trinity Church and H.H. Richardson: From Sketches to the Skylines
Jay Wickersham, Chris Milford and Hope Mayo, authors of Henry Hobson Richardson: Drawings from the Collection of Houghton Library, Harvard University (Monacelli Press), discuss what the architect's drawings reveal about the collaborative design process in the studio that produced Trinity Church. Houghton holds more than 4,000 drawings by Richardson and his studio, including Charles McKim and Stanford White, largely unpublished until now.
