The musical of Adrienne Shelly's 2007 film follows Jenna, a small-town diner waitress and expert pie-maker stuck in a rocky marriage, who sees a way out through a baking contest in a nearby county and an encounter with someone new. Sara Bareilles wrote the music and lyrics, Jessie Nelson the book, and Diane Paulus directed the original Broadway production, which opened in 2016. This is a national tour.
