Gentle Dark — Brown and Daley
Skylark pairs a new work by Gregory W. Brown with the Requiem of the Canadian choral composer Eleanor Daley, in a programme of contemporary choral writing that the ensemble describes as exploring "shadow, tenderness, and quiet strength." The Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble, directed by Matthew Guard, gives it in Exeter, Newburyport, Falmouth and Chestnut Hill across four April nights.
