Violinist Amaryn Olmeda is the soloist in Mendelssohn's E minor Concerto, framed by Beethoven's Coriolan Overture and Schumann's Second Symphony — the symphony he finished while recovering from a long breakdown. The Apollo Ensemble opens its dress rehearsal the night before.
