Radius Ensemble: Textures
Radius Ensemble opens its 28th season with Mary Kouyoumdjian’s Studies on Rage for Each Day of the Week for flute, bassoon and piano, her response to a world that, she says, “has gone bananas.” Jonathan Russell’s quintet for clarinet and strings, a Radius co-commission, has its world premiere, followed by Pulitzer winner Caroline Shaw’s viola and cello duo Limestone and Felt and Poulenc’s sextet for piano and winds.
