Animals + Technology: Designing for Animal Agency, Wellbeing, and Care
Researchers, designers and animal-care professionals discuss work from Northeastern's INTERACT Animal Lab, made with Zoo New England, the Museum of Science and the New England Aquarium. The projects range from sensing and monitoring systems to interactive enrichment designed for the animals themselves, and the panel takes up the practical, ethical and design problems of building technology that supports animal agency, wellbeing and care.
