Political Violence in the Digital Age: What online platforms can do to mitigate escalating risks
Yaël Eisenstat, policy and impact director of Northeastern’s CRC, and Justin Hendrix, CEO of Tech Policy Press, present the findings of a group of experts they convened, among them former tech company employees, policymakers and researchers, on what online platforms could do to reduce the risk of political violence ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Their recommendations cover interventions, policies and design changes to protect those most at risk.
