Leandrea Brantle draws on Special Education Survival Guide and her own experience as a mother navigating special education for a community conversation on preparing for school meetings, organizing records, understanding Individualized Education Programs and asking informed questions about a child’s needs. Brantle co-founded Victory Human Services, a nonprofit serving adults with developmental disabilities and seniors, and was its chief operating officer through a 27-year career there.
