Author Talk: A Pox on Fools
Thomas Levenson discusses A Pox on Fools: The True Believers, Grifters, and Cynics Who Convinced Us to Reject Vaccines, three essays tracing the commonest arguments against vaccination (that it is unnatural, more dangerous than the disease, an affront to freedom) to the first vaccine campaigns. Levenson, professor of science writing at MIT and author of Newton and the Counterfeiter, is joined by MIT Museum director Michael John Gorman.
