Schumann, Brahms and Schubert's The Trout — Brookline
Benjamin Hochman, the Jerusalem-born pianist who made his Carnegie Hall debut with the Israel Philharmonic at 24, is at the keyboard for Schubert's “Trout” Quintet, D.667, of 1819, with violinist Lucia Lin, violist Rebecca Gitter, cellist Jonathan Miller and BSO double bassist Carl Anderson. Schumann's Five Pieces in Folk Style, Op. 102, and Brahms's Viola Sonata, Op. 120 No. 2, open the programme.
