American Indian Symphony: Presence, Continuance, and Renewal
The season finale is built around the East Coast premiere of Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate's American Indian Symphony, scored for orchestra, chorus and Native vocal soloists. Alongside it come the New England premiere of Danielle Jagelski's Matriarch and a world premiere by composer-in-residence Carlos Carrillo. Tate is Chickasaw and has written for orchestras across the country.
