Shawn Shou-Wen Chou's feature follows Marilyn Khu, whose children have been expelled from school and whose husband hides in a VR headset, as she enrolls them in a boarding school run by the disciplinarian Suki Lai, where mothers are trained alongside their children. Michelle Krusiec co-wrote, co-produced and acts in it. The Boston Asian American Film Festival screening is followed by a Q&A.
