A Christmas Carol
Dickens published the novella in 1843 and it is often credited with fixing the shape of the modern holiday: Ebenezer Scrooge, three spirits and one night in industrial London, told as a ghost story and a piece of social argument at the same time. Mass Arts Center plays evenings at 7:30pm with weekend matinees.
