Colgate's debut, Hardly Creatures (Tin House, 2025), is built as an accessible art museum, its sections laid out as gallery rooms about life in a disabled body. Saysourinho's The Capture of Krao Farini, from Ugly Duckling Presse, is written in the imagined voice of a real sideshow performer brought to the United States around 1900.
