Rossini, Mozart & Schumann with Adam Golka
Adam Golka is the soloist in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor, one of only two piano concertos Mozart wrote in a minor key. Golka, born in Texas to a family of Polish musicians and a student of Leon Fleisher at Peabody, won the 2008 Gilmore Young Artist Award. Music director Avlana Eisenberg pairs the concerto with Rossini's overture to The Barber of Seville and Schumann's Fourth Symphony.
