GBH Music Presents: A Tiny Glass Winter's Eve
French mezzo-soprano Sophie Michaux leads Tiny Glass Tavern, her cross-genre ensemble, in a winter programme of songs and tunes from Mediterranean, Celtic, French and American traditions, Southern Gospel hymns among them, with reimagined radio favorites mixed in. Sopranos Fiona Gillespie and Kimaya Diggs and tenor Corey Hart join her over baroque strings, harp, bagpipe and banjo. The concert is filmed for broadcast on GBH 2, NEPM and CRB Classical 99.5.
