Danish Delights
Heinrich Christensen, King's Chapel's music director since 2000, plays organ music from his native Denmark, from Buxtehude, organist at Helsingør before he settled in Lübeck, through to Carl Nielsen. Christensen trained at the Århus Conservatory and with Olivier Latry at the Conservatoire de Saint-Maur, and won prizes at the organ competitions in Odense and Erfurt. He plays the chapel's C.B. Fisk organ, Opus 44.
