Birding by Ear with Jerry Berrier
Jerry Berrier, who is blind, explains what birding by ear involves, how to learn and remember bird calls, and how he took it up. Berrier spent two decades in assistive technology, latterly at the Perkins School for the Blind, is past president of the Bay State Council of the Blind, and has consulted on more than fifteen all-persons trails for Mass Audubon. He also leads walks for blind and sighted birders.
