Triple Duo
Music director emeritus David Hoose conducts a season finale built around Elliott Carter's Triple Duo (1983), which splits a sextet into three pairs, alongside the “Fiddle Music” movement of Gunther Schuller's Duologue from the same year. The first half brings Juri Seo's “Jack in the Box” for violin and electronics, Augusta Read Thomas's Acrobats, Yu-Hui Chang's Intersect and Richard Cornell's The Light of October, a 1998 Collage commission.
$35 general admission; $15 students (Longy students and faculty free)
