Karin Anell's new dark comedy traps four strangers in a tunnel when a Red Line train stops without warning, and the pressure forces them to confront one another and themselves. Anell, whose TC Squared Theatre stages short plays drawn from real people's life stories, follows the evening performance with a talk-back and panel on technology's changing role in everyday life, which she moderates. Recommended for ages 15 and up.

Ted Kaczynski appears before a parole board and recounts his life in song, hoping to prove that he never wanted to be a monster, only a star. John Lampe and Michael Wysong wrote the musical and perform it themselves. It played the Boston Fringe Festival before this booking.

Caitlin Green launches her debut book, Tame Your Inner Critic, with an author talk, workshop exercises, audience Q&A and a signing. The session, aimed at an inner critic that shows up as perfectionism, self-doubt or people-pleasing, blends “storytelling, practical psychology, mindfulness, and guided reflection.” Green is a self-trust coach, yoga teacher and former special educator who works from evidence-based psychology and mindfulness.

Keltie Knight tours her first solo book, The F∗ck Them Theory: Self-Help for People Who Are Done Being the Bigger Person, in conversation with Holly Madison, author of the memoir Down the Rabbit Hole. The night adds a writing and manifestation workshop and a Q&A, and admission includes a pre-signed book. Knight, a three-time Emmy winner, hosts E!’s Live From the Red Carpet and co-created the podcast LadyGang.

The seventh annual edition of this storytelling night presents true stories by adult storytellers on identity, origin, separation and reunion, drawn from adoption, foster care, donor conception and unexpected family discoveries. It was created by Lisa “LC” Coppola, a DCF adoptee and author of Voices Unheard: A Reflective Journal for Adult Adoptees, whose debut novel Monster Flower is forthcoming. Kristal Parke, a filmmaker and transracial adoptee, also appears.

In TRAD, written and performed by Hannah Mitchell and directed by Iris McCloughan, a pregnant trad wife's faith in her homestead idyll is tested; Broad Street Review called Mitchell's performance “laugh-out-loud funny.” In DENTATA, Julia VanderVeen plays Beth Anne, a middle-aged near-beauty queen who looks for herself in Medusa, the Sirens and Macbeth's Weird Sisters; Jess Lazar directs.
