Seraphim's French Christmas programme follows the Seine through seasonal music from France and the French diaspora, built around Léo Delibes's Messe brève for treble voices and organ and Poulenc's Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël. Eric Christopher Perry conducts, with Heinrich Christensen at the organ, and the evening includes a carol sing. The concert is given three times over the weekend and can also be streamed.

Sat Mar 13 · 8pm, Church of the Covenant (Boston) / Sun Mar 14 · 7:30pm, First Church in Cambridge

Seraphim marks the Singing Revolution of 1986–1991, when Estonians and their Baltic neighbours used mass choral singing and banned patriotic songs to protest Soviet occupation, with a programme of Estonian choral music. It centres on Arvo Pärt's Berliner Messe for choir and organ and Veljo Tormis's rarely performed Raua needmine (Curse Upon Iron), for choir and Koryak drum. Eric Christopher Perry conducts, with Heinrich Christensen at the organ.

Production art for Bangers and Mass

Sat May 8 – Sun May 9 · 8pm/3pm

Bangers and Mass

· &

Sat May 8 · 8pm, All Saints Ashmont (Dorchester) / Sun May 9 · 3pm, First Church in Cambridge

Seraphim closes its 29th season with English choral music associated with Westminster Abbey and the wider United Kingdom, by Handel, Holst, Howells, Parry and Purcell. The centrepiece is Ralph Vaughan Williams's Mass in G minor for double choir, written in the early 1920s. Eric Christopher Perry conducts, with Heinrich Christensen at the organ; the title puns on the British dish bangers and mash.
