Classical Music @ the SPL: Egle Jarkova Piano Trio
Violinist Eglė Jarkova, pianist Rui Urayama and cellist Ronald Lowry play Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 50, "In Memory of a Great Artist," the programme's only work. Tchaikovsky wrote it in 1881–82 after the death of his friend Nikolai Rubinstein, founder of the Moscow Conservatory. The concert is funded in part by the Saugus Cultural Council; registration is required, two per sign-up, for 40 seats.
