HUB History: 10th Anniversary Live Podcast Episode
A live taping of the HUB History podcast, ten years after its first episode introduced Pope’s Night, early Boston’s riotous anti-Catholic holiday. The panel moves on to the Puritan legacy of universal literacy, direct participation in government and, eventually, separation of church and state. Host Jake Sconyers is joined by public historian Lori Rogers-Stokes, author of Heroic Souls, and Jonathan M. Chu, Professor of History Emeritus at UMass Boston.
