Jon Kimbell's musical adaptation of Dickens's novella, made for this theatre and revived every holiday season since 1989, follows Ebenezer Scrooge through a night of spectral visits, set to traditional carols such as “The Boar's Head Carol” and “Here We Come A-Wassailing”. David Coffee plays Scrooge for a 32nd year, with Kevin P. Hill directing; the Boston Globe called it “spellbinding for all ages”.
