Faces of Love: A Musical World Premiere
The music for local composer Carol Koffinke’s new musical Faces of Love gets its first hearing: a drama about “the many faces of love,” from unconditional to obsessive, set mostly in a rural California tavern. Sopranos Kathryn McKellar and Emily Tweedy, mezzo-sopranos Carrie Cheron and Grace Allendorf, tenor David Rivera Bozon and baritones Graham Lin and Scott Ballantine sing, with pianist and musical director Timothy Steele.
