Long Shot

Paul Tsongas ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1992 out of Lowell, on fiscal discipline and an argument nobody else in the field was making, and won the New Hampshire primary without ever leading the race. Merrimack Rep commissioned the play and gives it its world premiere in the city Tsongas came from.
