Harbor Harmonies: Trio Coro — "Romantic Twilights"
Trio Coro plays three late-Romantic works: Fauré's Trio in D minor, Op. 120, begun in 1922 when he was nearly deaf; the single-movement Serenade in F minor, Op. 73, by the Brahms protégé Robert Kahn; and Brahms's Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op. 114, written after the clarinettist Richard Mühlfeld drew him out of retirement. The Boston ensemble is pianist Hua Ye (Jane), cellist Minyun Suh and clarinettist Bennett Parsons.
