Carols of Birds, Bells, and Peace from Ukraine
Ensemble Cherubim, a professional chamber choir directed by Marika Kuzma, sings Ukrainian carols, a tradition little known outside Ukraine, in concerts raising money for the children of Ukraine; the Boston date supports Doctors United for Ukraine. The choir's programmes blend Ukrainian music, poetry and visual art, and Fanfare's Daniel Morrison wrote that the emotions run "from deepest despair and mourning to joyous celebration."
