Autocrat
In his solo play, Cody Sullivan uses his own 35-year-old gay body to inhabit every member of the Leclerc family, a French-Canadian-descended, lower-middle-class household in South Central Massachusetts, and asks why their torment centers on an old bottle of Autocrat Coffee Syrup. The Provincetown Independent called it “the flavor of the times”; Provincetown Magazine wrote that it “crackles with electricity.” It runs 75 minutes without intermission.
