Handel's Messiah (Christmas portion)
The Choral Art Society of the South Shore sings the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah, including the Hallelujah Chorus, together with other seasonal music, in a single performance. The community chorus, founded in 1958, draws about 60 singers from some 20 South Shore towns and has been led since 2005 by its artistic director and conductor, Danica A. Buckley, who also directs the Cape Cod Chorale.
