Cellist Allison Eldredge, Cherry Street Music's artistic director, welcomes back pianist Jonathan Bass and three Boston Symphony Orchestra players: Alexander Velinzon, the BSO's first associate concertmaster, violinist Tatiana Dimitriades and assistant principal violist Cathy Basrak. Dimitriades and Bass, who are married, play a Beethoven sonata; Velinzon and Basrak play the Handel-Halvorsen Sarabande; and all five join for Schumann's Piano Quintet, written for his wife, the pianist Clara Wieck Schumann.
