Kate Hamill's adaptation of Austen plays the marriage plot fast and broad, with heavy doubling, slapstick and a cast that never leaves the stage. Hamill wrote it for herself as Elizabeth Bennet, and it has become one of the most produced plays in the United States. Burlington Players close their season with it.

Five actors play every part.
