Daniel Glenn's comedy follows the councilmen of Plymouth Colony as they work out how to be Good in the New World; Ben Brantley in the New York Times called it a “shrewd, silly evocation” of legislative gridlock. The title refers to Metacom, the Wampanoag leader whose head was displayed in Plymouth after King Philip's War. Brooks Reeves directs a cast of eight.

Do You Feel Anger

Mara Nelson-Greenberg’s workplace comedy, billed as “provocative and outrageous,” sends an empathy coach into a debt-collection agency whose employees cannot name their own feelings. The New York Times called it “flat-out hilarious” when it premiered off-Broadway. It closes Apollinaire’s 2026–27 season, after Daniel Glenn’s King Phillips Head Is Still on That Pike Down the Road and Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard.
