Fri Dec 4 – Sun Jan 10
Two performers build the entire score live with loop pedals, telling the history of the Underground Railroad that ran south into Mexico rather than north into Canada. Brian Quijada and Nygel D. Robinson wrote the piece and perform it themselves.

An immersive production directed by Diane Paulus and built on David Bowie's music, made by special arrangement with the Bowie estate. The A.R.T. frames its season around resilience in turbulent times, and this closes it. Bowie's own musical, Lazarus, opened the year before he died.
