Fri Oct 9 – Sun Nov 1

Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors

· · 321 Arsenal St · · ·

Jonathan Harker, London's most naive estate agent, runs into Van Helsing, Renfield, Lucy and a Count the production describes as a self-obsessed, pansexual fitness fanatic. Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen's spoof is billed as Mel Brooks crossed with Monty Python and a dash of Rocky Horror.

Production art for The Complete Works of Jane Austen (Abridged)

Thu Dec 3 – Sun Dec 27

The Complete Works of Jane Austen (Abridged)

· · 41 Second St · · · ·

All six Austen novels compressed into a single fast and deliberately unhinged evening, written by Jessica Bedford, Kathryn MacMillan, Charlotte Northeast and Meghan Winch. Actors' Shakespeare Project programmes it alongside its own Dracula comedy this autumn. Austen finished six novels; two were published after her death.

Production art for Hamlet

Thu Jan 28 – Sun Feb 21

Hamlet

· · 321 Arsenal St · · ·

Shakespeare's longest play, and the one in which the revenge keeps being postponed by the thinking. Actors' Shakespeare Project takes it on in midwinter; the company's habit is to play Shakespeare in found rooms rather than from a permanent house.

Production art for Jitney

Fri Apr 9 – Sun May 2

Jitney

· · 184 Dudley St · · · · ·

A gypsy-cab station in 1970s Pittsburgh faces demolition, and the drivers who work out of it face what comes next. Jitney is the earliest-set play in August Wilson's ten-play Century Cycle, and the first he wrote of them. Wilson set each play of the cycle in a different decade of the twentieth century.
