Rossini: Petite messe solennelle
Rossini's Petite messe solennelle, written in 1863, more than three decades after his last opera, is heard in its chamber form with piano and harmonium rather than the composer's later orchestration. Max Holman conducts from the piano, with Heinrich Christensen on harmonium, and the solo quartet is soprano Carley DeFranco, mezzo-soprano Julia Cavallaro, tenor Jonas Budris and bass Junhan Choi.
