Faculty Recital: Michael Meraw, Baritone
Baritone Michael Meraw, with pianist Leonardo Ciampa, sings Italian art songs by Paolo Tosti, among them Sogno and L'ultima canzone, and three by Stefano Donaudy, including Vaghissima sembianza, then gives the Boston premiere of Ciampa's Trilogia della Luce. Meraw has sung with Seattle Opera, Opéra Atelier and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, in roles including Szymanowski's King Roger and Rossini's Figaro.
