Pete Townshend's rock opera about a boy who goes deaf, dumb and blind after witnessing a killing, and becomes a pinball champion and then a messiah. Des McAnuff, who directed the 1993 original, reworked this staging; it was nominated for the 2024 Tony for Best Musical Revival.
