The Artist's Voice: Leilah Babirye
The Ugandan artist Leilah Babirye, who sculpts from ceramics, carved wood and discarded objects such as bicycle chains and tire tubes to address queer identity and resilience under Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Act, discusses her practice with ICA Barbara Lee Chief Curator Ruth Erickson, alongside her exhibition "Embaga ya Naki ne Naki."
