Nick Thorkelson at Harvard Book Store
Nick Thorkelson discusses If I Could But See It, his graphic biography of William Morris (1834–1896), the designer, polymath and socialist, tracing how his politics shaped his poetry and design, and his efforts to democratise art while making pieces for the wealthy. Thorkelson, author and illustrator of Herbert Marcuse, is a former Boston Globe editorial cartoonist, as is Dan Wasserman, creator of We’ve Been Framed, who joins him.
