Artist Carmen Winant and writer Lauren O’Neill-Butler discuss video as a medium and as subject matter in the global movement against domestic violence of the 1970s and ’80s, after a tour of Winant's exhibition Double Jeopardy with curator Meg Rotzel. Winant holds the Roy Lichtenstein Endowed Chair of Studio Art at Ohio State; O’Neill-Butler wrote The War of Art, a history of artists’ protest in America. Also on Zoom.
