NEC Saxophone Ensemble
Kenneth Radnofsky leads the NEC Saxophone Ensemble in works composed and arranged for saxophones. Adolphe Sax patented the instrument in 1846, and much of what saxophone ensembles play is arranged from music first written for other forces. Radnofsky, who teaches saxophone at NEC, founded the World-Wide Concurrent Premieres and Commissioning Fund, through which saxophonists around the world premiere a new work at the same time.
