Fern Hill/No Dream Required
The Master Singers of Lexington close their season with John Corigliano’s Fern Hill, a setting of Dylan Thomas’s poem looking back on an idealised childhood, and the first performance of No Dream Required, a new work by local composer Michael Weinstein to words by Lexington poet Cliff Blake. Adam Grossman conducts, and three Coleridge-Taylor part-songs and Christopher Harris’s Bring Me All Your Dreams complete the programme.
