A costumed Nathaniel Hawthorne, billed as Salem's master storyteller, performs his own most frightening tales alongside the work of Edgar Allan Poe. The programme includes The House of the Seven Gables, Young Goodman Brown, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee and The Raven. It is aimed at families with brave children ten and up, and is held in the Visitor Center auditorium, without access to the Mansion.
