RPM Fest Presents "Tom, Tom, The Piper's Son and others Films" by Ken Jacobs
RPM Fest and the Brattle pay tribute to the experimental filmmaker Ken Jacobs and his partner and collaborator Florence "Flo" Jacobs, who both died in 2025. The programme centres on Tom, Tom, The Piper's Son (1969), Jacobs's 115-minute re-photographing of a 1905 Biograph short, with Perfect Film (1986) and Little Stabs at Happiness (1962), all on 16mm. Jacobs taught for decades at SUNY Binghamton.
