New Beginnings Reentry Services marks its tenth anniversary with a fundraiser built around a moderated conversation and audience Q&A with Angela Davis on reentry, reintegration, healing and building communities beyond incarceration. Davis, the activist and UC Santa Cruz professor emerita, is the author of Are Prisons Obsolete? Proceeds support the organisation's trauma-informed services for formerly incarcerated people and their families, from case management to housing referrals.
