Alyson Mosquera DuTemple and Leah de Forest discuss Marvelous Freaks of Nature
Alyson Mosquera DuTemple discusses her debut story collection, in which an amateur herpetologist is swindled by women he meets on lizard-care message boards and a dental hygienist makes a doomed trip to a sham psychic on the Atlantic City boardwalk. DuTemple's stories have appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review and Colorado Review. Leah de Forest, who teaches fiction at the Harvard Extension School, joins her.
